How to choose CCTV coverage without blind spots

Replace this template with real content. The structure is SEO-friendly and conversion-aware.

1) Start with zones, not cameras

List the areas that matter (perimeter, loading bays, entrances, cash points, sensitive rooms). Then define the outcome for each zone: detection, recognition, or identification.

2) Lighting and angles decide quality

Plan for low-light conditions, backlight at entrances, and reflective surfaces. Choose lens and placement to avoid faces being washed out.

3) Storage and retention policy

Retention requirements drive storage cost. Decide how many days you need, resolution, and whether you need continuous recording or event-based recording.

4) Alerts and incident workflow

AI alerts are only useful when they route to the right people. Define who receives what alert, and how incidents are logged and closed.
